  1. ReductoClips  – decouple the mass layers from the frame and act like a shock absorbing suspension system to dampen high levels of sound energy and vibration

  2. ReductoClip Furring Channels  – extra wide to make fixing acoustic plasterboards quicker and easier

  3. Acoustic Mineral Wool  – dampens sound within the frame cavity to stop sound amplifying

  4. Acoustic Plasterboard  – (2 layers) to increase the mass of the wall. More mass and density than standard plasterboard but with the same finishing and decorating techniques

  5. FlexiSound 5  –   Anti-Vibration membrane to add further mass to the wall. A different type of mass to reduce different sound frequencies to the other layers. FlexiSound also helps to dampen sound energy and vibration

  Tested on a single skin 100mm brick wall.

  Sound reduction of brick wall before treatment:

  38dB  (DnT,w) /  36dB  (DnT,w+Ctr)

  Improvement with treatment:

  23dB  (DnT,w) /  19dB  (DnT,w+Ctr)

   

  Stud Wall Application:

  • If you are employing fitters, it’s recommended they are booked after materials have been delivered
  • Please note that our products have a great deal of mass, and will add weight to your structure. You may need to check with a structural engineer to ensure compatibility
  • Some of the heavy materials will need two people to lift them (unfortunately our drivers won’t be able to assist with carrying materials indoors)
  • Standard delivery is between 9am and 6pm and all goods must be signed for
  • All goods are delivered (well wrapped) on a pallet as close to your property as possible
