Tried, tested and proven to reduce unwanted noise from noisy neighbours. The ReductoClip Direct to Wall System is engineered to enable you to achieve peace and quiet in your home.
The addition of high levels of mass and resilience help to dampen sound energy and vibration with minimal space loss.
Whether you want peace and quiet from noisy neighbours or privacy through internal walls, the ReductoClip Direct to Wall System offers an excellent space loss to performance solution.
High level of sound reduction - giving you peace, quiet and privacy in your own home
Saves you space - slimmest direct to wall isolation clip and bar system of its kind
Straightforward DIY installation - saving you time and money, without the need of extra labour costs
Fast delivery lead times (3-5 working days) - no need to wait for a solution to your noise issue. We're here to make it happen swiftly and efficiently
Industry leading technical support - soundproof with confidence. Whatever the noise issue, whatever the question, we're here to help
The ReductoClip Direct to Wall System has been carefully designed so that a competent DIYer can install the system themselves saving on installation costs.
For non DIYers, a local tradesperson such as a builder or joiner will have the necessary skill to install the system for you following our detailed installation guide and video.
Our team of highly trained and experienced soundproofing professionals are also on hand to offer technical support and answer any installation questions.
60mm of High Performing Sound Reduction Engineering
1. ReductoClips - decouple the mass layers from the frame and act like a shock absorbing suspension system to dampen high levels of sound energy and vibration
2. ReductoClip Furring Channels - extra wide to make fixing acoustic plasterboards quicker and easier
3. Acoustic Mineral Wool - dampens sound within the frame cavity to stop sound amplifying
4. Acoustic Plasterboard - (2 layers) to increase the mass of the wall. More mass and density than standard plasterboard but with the same finishing and decorating techniques
5. FlexiSound 5 - viscoelastic membrane to add further mass to the wall. A different type of mass to reduce different sound frequencies to the other layers. FlexiSound also helps to dampen sound energy and vibration

We don’t expect you to become an overnight soundproofing expert, that’s what we’re here for.
Our solid wall soundproofing systems will reduce noise and are designed to exceed the UK Part E Building Regulations for the passage of sound.
No soundproofing will offer 100% reduction, however installing soundproofing will dramatically reduce noisy neighbour noise through a solid wall.
*dB results will vary depending on several factors.
Please see our dB blog on why dB results may vary
To help eliminate weak spots where socket boxes are to be installed we recommend using our soundproof socket box inserts (acoustic socket putty pads). These are available for 35mm or 47mm depth boxes single and double. For cables and light switches no further soundproofing is necessary apart from sealing any small gaps with acoustic sealant.
No, you shouldn't need to add any soundproofing materials to the chimney breast. We normally only soundproof the alcoves of the dividing solid wall to the sides of your chimney breast.
Chimney breasts are generally made from a double layer of very dense fire brick. This makes the chimney breast area very high in mass and therefore perform better for soundproofing than the single standard bricks in the alcoves. Please see our dedicated Chimney breast soundproofing blog
All our solid wall soundproofing solutions have a 15mm acoustic grade plasterboard finish, so standard plasterboard decorating techniques apply. To decorate plasterboard, we normally recommend a skim plaster on top of the plasterboard to cover joins and screw holes, to provide a flat even surface finish that you can paint directly onto.
If using wallpaper use a heavy-duty dry lining wallpaper first and then your final wallpaper finish.
When using the ReductoClip™ Wall System to soundproof around awkward areas, (such as RSJ's, chimney breasts, boxed in piping or electrics) it is important to leave a 5mm gap.
This is because each soundproofed surface needs to be isolated from the next and not touching. This ensures that the ReductoClips are able to flex and absorb sound energy.
This is easily achieved during installation and details of how this is done can be found here:

The final layer of the soundproofing is a 15mm acoustic grade plasterboard which is much stronger than standard plasterboard. So the short answer is yes. However, if you are hanging very heavy items more secure fixing may be needed.
